4 Things DIGGERS™ Acetone Can Do Around Your Home

There are so many uses for acetone around the home that most people don’t even know about, and DIGGERS™ Acetone has become one of my absolute household staples because of it. Here are 4 of my favourite ways I use it:

1. Removing Super Glue from Skin and Surfaces

I can’t tell you how many times there’s been a super glue “situation” in my home, either it’s spilt onto a surface or someone has got it all over their hands. A bit of DIGGERS™ Acetone on a microfibre cloth makes the cleanup easy! It works great at softening and removing super glue from safe surfaces such as glass, glazed tiles, glazed ceramic and stainless steel. And the real game changer? It will also remove super glue from skin! No more painful scrubbing, this is one of my favourite acetone cleaning hacks.

2. Lifting Permanent Marker from Hard Surfaces

This one is very satisfying! A quick wipe over with a cloth dipped in DIGGERS™ Acetone and you can watch the permanent marker literally disappear before your eyes! This works great on safe surfaces like glass, glazed ceramic and stainless steel.

3. Removing Stubborn Sticker and Adhesive Residue

I have young kids that LOVE to put stickers on everything, from their bedroom windows to the bathroom mirror. I was spending hours trying to remove the sticker residue until I discovered that removing adhesive residue with acetone is quick and easy. Trust me, I’ve never looked back!

4. One of the Most Well-Known Uses for Acetone: Removing Nail Polish

Last but not least, a more commonly known use, removing nail polish from surfaces. I’ve dropped a bottle of nail polish on our bathroom tiles more times than I wish to admit over the years. DIGGERS™ Acetone has been a lifesaver for those messy cleanups on glazed tile and glass surfaces!
