DIGGERS™ Eco In-Ground Timber Protecta
DIGGERS™ Eco In-Ground Timber Protecta is a non hazardous ‘creosote alternative’ that provides a tough bitumen coating to improve protection against moisture and deterioration on timber and masonry surfaces.
TYPICAL USES
Increases the life of building materials in outdoor, below ground applications by sealing toxins in and keeping moisture out. Typically used on:
- Fences, veranda posts and sleepers
- Garden stakes, logs, poles and retaining walls

How to use DIGGERS™ Eco In-Ground Timber Protecta
1. Thoroughly shake and stir the product before and during application.
2. Clean any dirt or dust from the timber surface.
3. Apply with a brush, roller, or by dipping. If the brush clogs during use, soak it in DIGGERS™ Mineral Turpentine.
4. Apply two coats, allowing one hour between coats. Typical coverage is 8–10 m² per litre per coat.
5. For posts, extend the coating at least 10 cm above ground level.
6. Clean equipment or spills with water while still wet. Dried spills can be removed with DIGGERS™ Mineral Turpentine.
7. To paint over, allow the coating to dry completely and use a water-based acrylic paint.
