- DIGGERS™ Bycol Clear is an air-entraining admixture used to improve the workability of brickwork mortars and concrete mixes.
- DIGGERS™ Bycol Dark is the same as Bycol Clear, but is designed for use by plasterers to obtain a far smoother rendered surface.

How to use DIGGERS™ Bycol (Clear & Dark)
1. Determine sand type
Identify whether you are using fatty (poorly graded) or coarse sand.
2. Measure the product
- For fatty sand: Add 25 ml to the gauging water for each 40 kg bag of cement, or 250 ml per 200 litres of water.
- For coarse sand: Add up to 50 ml per 40 kg bag of cement, or up to 500 ml per 200 litres of water.
3. Mix thoroughly
Combine DIGGERS™ Bycol with the gauging water before adding to your mortar or concrete mix.
4. Application purpose
- Bycol Clear: Reduces segregation and bleeding, improving mortar and concrete durability.
- Bycol Dark: Produces a smoother finish for plaster and cement renders, ideal for steel trowelling.
