Stubborn Stains Made Simple with DIGGERS™ Methylated Spirits

Spills and stains are a common occurrence in my household. With a busy lifestyle and three young kids, I find myself tackling a stubborn stain or noting one down in my cleaning to-do list at least once a week.

I always have a bottle (or two) of DIGGERS™ Methylated Spirits in my cleaning supplies, because it works across multiple surfaces and has so many uses, including methylated spirits stain removal that actually works.

Removing Coffee, Tea & Wine Stains from Mugs

As a coffee lover, my favourite mugs become stained over time, making them look unsightly and dull. DIGGERS™ Methylated Spirits can remove these stains easily! I simply dab a small amount onto a cloth (never pour directly into the mug or cup), gently wipe over the stain until it’s gone, then rinse thoroughly with soapy water to ensure the mug is safe for drinking. I’ve successfully removed coffee, tea, and wine stains from glazed ceramic, porcelain, and glass mugs, saving time on scrubbing and cutting out the need for multiple products.

Removing Grease & Oil Stains from Clothing

Another area in my home where I use DIGGERS™ Methylated Spirits regularly is the laundry.

Grease and oil stains from everyday messes or cooking mishaps can seem impossible to remove, but this is where methylated spirits stain removal really shines. Before washing, I apply a small dab to the stain and blot with a cloth to lift the grease and oil. I’ve saved multiple items of clothing using this method and it’s quick, easy, and effective!
