By Jess @_prettyliving

Acetone is commonly known for its ability to remove nail polish, but did you know that it also has several other uses?

Note: DIGGERS™ recommend a spot test in an inconspicuous place prior to using this product

Here are 7 ways DIGGERS™ Acetone can be used in cleaning tasks around the home:

  1. How to remove Sticker residue with Acetone
Acetone is great at removing the sticky residue left on a surface from stickers or other adhesives, simply pour a little onto a cloth and then wipe over the affected area until removed.
  2. Remove permanent marker

Acetone will remove permanent marker from surfaces with ease. Using a cloth soaked in a small amount of Acetone, wipe over the mark and watch it disappear.

  3. How to clean Scuff marks with acetone
If you have marks on your tiles, concrete or laminate flooring that will not budge, add a small amount of Acetone to a cloth or cotton bud and gently wipe over to remove. For flooring, always test in a small inconspicuous area first.
  4. Clean Coffee stains from your mug – have your coffee mugs stained on the inside over time? Pour a little DIGGERS™ Acetone into the mug and wipe around with a cloth until the stains have been removed. Wash and rinse as usual before using.
  5. Cleaning Baths and showers with Acetone – dilute DIGGERS™ Acetone with water (1:1) and use to clean ring marks on porcelain baths and soap scum from shower tiles.
  6. How to remove Super glue with Acetone
Acetone will dissolve dried up super glue, making it great for cleaning up accidental spills, or removing excess glue from their lids if they have been glued shut.
  7. Remove Ink from fabric
Acetone can be used to remove ink stains from sturdy fabrics such as cotton, polyester, and wool. Pour onto a cloth, gently dab onto the stain, and then rinse with water. Always spot test first and avoid using on delicate fabrics such as silk.
